Carole Bury

The Paper Textiles are constructed from tissue paper, and contain both hand and machine embroidery, paper cut-outs, monoprints and oil paint. Fossils, geology and woodlands have provided me with ample resources for much of my work.
The Migratory Journeys of birds and fish have captured my imagination, and the seeds of new work are beginning to germinate, with charcoal drawings and samples for large Paper Textiles.
