Peter Garrard
I am currently exploring three themes. First is a series of sculptural bird baths and bird houses. The houses were initially inspired by the Naunton Dovecote and the vernacular architecture of the Cotswolds. More recently memories of the decorative buildings of Venice and Andalucía have been influential. My second theme humorously explores the limitations and possibilities of combining pot-forms with the figure.
Finally, with my panels I am combining narrative with collage and mark-making.
