Registration forms for our 2011 main event now available

Is it really that time again!? Building on the success of our best-ever open studios event, in 2009, and our busy first year as a members' association, we are now making plans for Cheltenham Open Studios 2011 (COS11). Scheduled to run between Saturday 4 – Sunday 12 June 2011, we are aiming to engage even more local people with the wonderful art being created on their doorsteps. It would be great if you could join us for COS11.

Members' Exhibition at St Lukes Church (9 - 26th September 2010 )

The St Luke's exhibition, which has been part of the hugely successful Heritage Open Days Days event over the weekend is open until the 26th September, 12 - 4 pm daily. Please pop in if you are passing, it would be great to see you.

Paper and stitched textiles, enamelled work, jewellery, printmaking, and photography; add in some sculpture, ceramics, collagraphs and, of course, painting and you get a sense of the diversity of talent on show. Unframed work and cards are also available for sale.

Heritage Open Days 2010 (9-12 September 2010)

As we move onto our next two exhibitions COS joins up with Heritage Open Days.

St Luke's Church & All Saints Church have art exhibitions in both churches organised by Cheltenham Open Studios.

All Saints 9 - 12th (12 - 4pm) and St Lukes 9 - 26th (12 - 4pm)

Family workshops at St Lukes on Saturday 11 September 10-4 pm, refreshments 10,11 Sept in St Luke's

COS member Rob Goldsmith Music Festival Residency

Cheltenham Open Studios member Rob Goldsmith is attending rehearsals and performances in the first 10 days of the HSBC Cheltenham Music Festival preparing a series of portraits and sketches to be exhibited in the final few days, at Pittvlle Pump rooms.
wed 14th - Saturday 17th July.

Cheltenham Open Studios at the Summerfield Gallery

Cheltenham Open Studios open the doors to its biggest exhibition under one roof. (3 - 7th July 2010, 10am - 4pm daily)

Located at the University of Gloucestershire, Pittville Campus, with over 104 pieces of artwork on display it really is worth a trip to the Summerfield Gallery.
