Frances Whitman

Self taught Artist Frances Whitman has met with acclaim and won several awards for her animal paintings and drawings over the past 20 years.

With two very distinct styles, Frances captures in intricate detail, the spirit, essence and beauty of our nature and wildlife with her highly realistic wildlife paintings and drawings.

In addition, she creates wonderful ‘soul’ paintings. Intuitively connecting with the energies present in life surrounding us all, her contemporary vibrant ‘living’ pastels express these energies through colour, form, shape and rhythm. These pieces can be identified with on a deep energetic level.

Frances is a regular Artist in Residence at Nature in Art, Walsworth Hall, Gloucestershire.
