COS11 4 - 12th June - A weeklong celebration of visual art

9 days, 64 venues, 200 artists: COS11 is the artist-run event that invites you to get up close and personal with the wonderful work being created in this area. From Saturday 4 to Sunday 12 June, visual artists working in Cheltenham and the surrounding area will be welcoming the public into their studios, workrooms and exhibition spaces to view their work. Watch them at work; talk with them; join in hands-on workshops: it’s a great way for anyone interested in art to get a better understanding of the creative process. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to pick up some unique pieces of locally made art for your home.

There’s something for all the family, too. In addition to the all-age workshops at Christchurch and St. Luke’s, Glenfall Primary School, Charlton Kings, will be hosting a mini art festival on both Saturdays that includes the always-popular Kidzart workshops, exhibitions, storytelling and a ton of other free, arty stuff that the whole family can enjoy.

Organised by Cheltenham Open Studios, this is the seventh such celebration of the visual art being made in the area.
