COS at Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2012

2 COS members ran a children's freestyle graffiti workshop at this years Jazz Festival in Montpellier Gardens this year, with tremendous results.

The rain-free workshop ran for 2 hours on Saturday. Rob Goldsmith, who was also sketching the live performances over the weekend and Beth Forrester had a fantastic 'have a go' session with children of all ages.

Gloucestershire College Exhibition at The Star College in aid of FOCUS

Cheltenham Open Studios managed community gallery space, The Stary Gallery at Cheltenham General Hospital is currently hosting an exhibition from Gloucestershire College Digital Photography course to raise funds for Focus charity, for those affected by cancer. The show will run from Friday 16th March - 13th April 2012 For anyone who cannot get to the Star gallery but wishes to bid for any of the framed photographs, please click here to place your bid:


COS are participating in the Art Gallery and Museum Christmas Fair at Gardens Gallery – Saturday 10th December, 11am – 5pm. Please come and support us.

We were at Bath Road Market on Friday 25th, (see picture) which was a great day as the lights were put on. There were carol singers and mulled wine freely flowing.

COS hosts exhibitions at St Lukes Church and at Christ Church in Cheltenham as part of the Heritage Open Days weekend.

St Lukes (8th - 18th) 

Open 12 - 4pm daily, Saturday 10: 11 - 1.30pm, Saturday 17: 2 - 4pm. Open View Sat 10th: 7 - 9pm ALL WELCOME     Unframed works, greeting cards and 5x5's will also be on sale.
