I work in 3D paper collage. Also in tin foil.

My excitement is in tricking the eye - trompe l'oeil - creating an illusion where fashion, costume, style and detail are turned into an alternative visual language through the use of a humble and natural material - paper.

My papers might be industrial waste or acquired from the washi warehouses of Japan or from India or Nepal or the local supermarket or found in a bin.
