Artemisia Art Group

Artemisa is an established group of eleven artists who have been variously painting together for many years. Collectively, our artistic experience is extensive and wide-ranging. From formal studies in Fine Art and Art History, group tuition and plein air fun, we share a creative passion which manifests in impromptu discussions and consideration of our individual works as they progress; there’s always another view!

A 'fly on the wall' observing our weekly meetings, in the picturesque village of Stanton, would be struck by the variety of styles and approaches within the group, from the classically precise to a looseness reminiscent of the Impressionists, to the experimental where mixed media and wax abound.

We exhibit together as a group and occasionally individually. Most of us are happy to accept commissions, using our membership contact point to express an interest.
