Liz Freedman
I am a artist printmaker from Gloucestershire. Working primarily in collagraph, mono print and linocut, my work focuses on the landscape of the British Isles, from rugged cliff faces to rolling Cotswold hills. Working from my home studio, I like to create prints that explore the shapes, lines and textures of the landscape around me, sometimes focusing on the small details and other times trying to capture a sense of place.
My ideas usually develop from sketchbook studies and photography, and in most cases begin life as a detailed line drawing before being transferred to the block for printing.
