Sam Steel

Sam is a sculptor whose practice often combines found natural forms and objects with his own creations. They celebrate the lives of the animals and birds who have given up part of their being to be incorporated into life-affirming sculptures. As well as working in bronze and clay, Sam also embraces new technology, exploring the potential of 3D printing.
Sam grew up in Cheltenham and now makes sculpture for Yinka Shonibare and other major figures in the British art scene. He is also happy to accept commissions on any scale.
