Tricia Torrington

I have an MA in printmaking, and my practice involves etching, collagraph and monoprint. I am keen on photography and process these in alternative photographic processes, including photopolymer etching and Cyanotype. I generally work in series, with inspiration linked to the human body, natural sciences and natural philosophy, including alchemy, and pagan and spiritual traditions, cave art and indigenous art such as tribal masks. I also make book arts, which I began so I could bring my two disciplines of poetry and print together. I am a member of the GPC, and also Stroud Artists Books and The BookBand.
